i never say never...but this time....... ..hey if it bolts up to ur manifold and then to ur dowpipe then give it a try in ur parking lot and let us know what the pyro tells u and smoke and such... im guessing uve been fooling around in ur local bone yard havent u....ive spent countless hours in mine....but because ur motor isnt a 12 valve i dont think u can fool around as much......i like ur thinking though...in my bone yard there are 3 5.9's with 7-speed trannies bolted to them ...im thinking conversion but like urs its just a dream

Those turbos are bigger but not better. Your modern turbo is most likly way more efficient. IMO i would look in to a new turbo that is proven.

I say go for it.
You'll probably be able to hit 650hp with it.

What is the model # on it? Does it say on the I.D. tag anything about it? You will need more fuel to spool it if it will fit up. Couldnt be that laggy, since the big trucks use it, and fuel is what spools turbo's. More laggy than what you have im sure, but it shouldnt be just horrible. It would be worth a try

if ur at the bone yard already then get a bigger turbo off a C16 cat or a cummins N14....or a 60 series detroit..all bigger than the mack motor..i dont think mack makes a motor over 13 liters..or just barely

Wow....I don't know what to say?? .......To put it politely, don't waste your time with that turbo....at the very least, you MUST identify exactly what size the turbo is before you waste any time and $ trying to adapt it to your CTD......With what little information there is, the size of the turbo and the age of it, I would say you will be less than happy with the performance.....the condition it is in may also be a concern.

You have RV275 injectors and are asking whether they will spool the Mack turbo?

I doubt it. I have 275's and they barely spool an HX40/35 hybrid adequately.
