Just do it...
I've never had any problems with the law. Just roll up the windows and it all disappears... It really isn't that loud. The only time I hear the exhaust note is when the GO! pedal is mashed to the floor...

go out to the local farm and ask if you could walk the field and grab some hardened cow patties and then lay about 10 of them in his yard....you can throw the stiff ones like frisbies!!

That guy doesn't mess around in my yard anymore anyhow.... hasn't for quite some time but it still galls me that he would have the stones to just wander the neighborhood like that.
