Looking to convert to long bed + more

I am in the middle of painting my truck and I decided I would like to take it a step further. I have always wanted a long bed. I have been toying with the idea of DRW to go along with it. I was planning on upgrading to a D80 to begin with. I am trying to take my truck to the next level with modifications and a custom look. After thinking about DRW swap to the back, what if I just put the flares on but instead of two wheels on the back, what if I just put one big ol wheel and tire back there. I am looking for advice and opinions. Now is the time for me to do anything before I paint. I have tried searching a few places but havent came up with much. Let me know what you guys think about the following.
Long Bed
DRW swap
Flares with 1 big wheel

I think dually fenders with super singles in the back would be awesome! But i personally would take a 2nd gen long bed and fab the new mega cab dually flares onto it and then put super singles under it. I like the look of a longbed with mega cab dually fenders on it. Thats just my .02.

I am not looking at your usual super singles but instead keep the off road tire and maybe a 37x15.5 would be big enough with a deep enough wheel and backspacing.

I think maybe a photo shop is in order.

I have 37x12.5's on my srw. With 4.75" backspacing on the rims they stick out about 3 inches so the 15.5 wide tires ought to make it wide enough. Yeah I like your idea. A big mean 4x4 SRW with dually fenders in the rear to cover the tires would look sick. X2 on the photoshop. I would like to see a long bed 2nd gen with megacab flares and with normal dually fenders to compare side by side.

I will go take some pics of my truck and post them on this thread so photoshop guru on here can add some dually fenders to it to give you an idea.

Ehhh... I don't think dually fenders are going to be anything special with "mud" tires installed. Most people will think you just took a dually and put large single tires on it... Kind of cheezy... It's either true Super Singles or normal duals with dually fenders.... JMO

What do you want to do with the truck? A lot of those big wide tires aren't load rated to carry much, and handle like poo.

I dont tow much other than jet skis and a small boat. It is just a weekend truck that I am trying to turn into more of a show and go type of truck. Just a nice day hot rod that I pull a couple times a year. I also have 33" BFG all terrains this year for 1/4 mile and whatever else I need them for on a smaller rim. I also have stock wheels and tires I use for storing and whatever else I need them for.

My goal is to do something a bit different than others but still be able to function with during its twice a month 100 miles city trips and occasional truck pull. I need to get the body and everything done so I can add some more go fast parts.

I even considered just lengthening the rear end and putting a decently wide tire underneath the flares but saving enough room underneath the bed that i can cut out the wheel well and replace it with smoothed over sheet metal to gain even more bedspace. I just dont want anything to look out of proportion.
