would you recommend against my plan to add a leaf and re-arch the rear springs?

Depends alot on which AAL you go with, I'm getting rid of mine and going with new custom spring packs. My AAL is about 1/2" thick, and the rear springs won't move even with light shock valving. Not a big fan of re-arching either, if it's not done right it changes the spring rate and they eventually lose the arch.

On the other hand, I have heard good things about Skyjunker's replacement leaf packs, they're about 1/2 the cost of a custom pack. Apparently they do much better with leafs than coils.....

 

my neighbor who helps me alot with my truck works for a shop that does springs for big rigs...they may be able to make me a custom spring pack...not sure

 

As a proud member of the "wish I knew D25s were crap before I bought them" club, I'd have to echo this

CSS springs. Last I heard, they make the springs for KORE.
