Level kit and coil spring compressor

No place to rent the compressor here. Napa and another place have them to buy. Is there anything specific I am looking for in buying them? Size, etc??

Are you installing a spacer or the whole spring?

I'm pretty sure you don't need to compress the springs to get enough room for the spacers, when I did my lift I had lots of room to get the springs out and the new ones in without a spring compressor. I think the axle would droop enough to get them in.

Same here - no compressor needed. Just jacked up the truck on the frame and let the axle hang when I did my leveling springs, had to pry a bit, but nothing outrageous.
