Could try it with cursive instead of script - years ago GMC used cursive, very distinctive, even tasteful, on those red valve covers..............

No our classifieds are for member use only not for any vendor no matter how small. The idea behind the classifieds is to let you guys sell your used stuff when you upgrade so we can keep the for sale stuff out of the fourms, and full of the info we all seek.

If I allowed vendor ads in the classifieds, it would be over run in less than a months time by every single small time operator out there.

Last I heard was toward the end of September for any new Smarty CR's

It varies, I may do one this week, and then have to remove 50 next week, there are always people trying to take advantage of someone elses hard work and spent dollars.

I check that stuff multiple times a day

All seems pretty harmless to me. No one asked if they could purchase anything from him and he never mentioned he does outside work for higher.

Oh well.

Yeah....i saw this one this morn....and i saw the hand a coming………..

Its very cool what the gentleman did! BUT to post a direct website and such without being a vendor....its not fair to vendors, like us, that have paid for the privilege to support our products and services on DTR. Lessons learned.....

Actually he posted his website after the guys asked him about it and it was removed. That was my point, he started out harmless and was kind of lead into the trouble zone. I never thought that was his intention, thats why I was trying to tell the other guys NOT to get him in trouble

Thats it in a nutshell, In order to be fair we remove ALL ads by non DTR vendors, straight across the board no matter how cool the stuff is. As a matter of fact the very first one removed from a signature after we made this rule was the the one in my signature for my Gunshop.

I don't pay to advertise here and even though as a site owner I could undoubtably get away with it, I hold my own feet to the same fire as everyone else.

Fair is Fair, I don't know any other way to do it and remain Fair.

You didn't offend anyone...you didn't do anything wrong.

It was people like me who hinted that they would like one, and asked if you could make more. Most of those posts have been removed now, or edited

I can't wait to see the finished project, glad you decided to show it off!!
Thanks,
Chris

I must have missed the website posting then. I can see that as a potential issue I guess.
