Just installed my 4" Jennetty exhaust

My first impressions are favorable. It has a deep throuty sound. My turbo spins up much faster than before. With the same amount of fuel supplied I am seeing an increase of 4# of boost. At WOT I may see 1 or 2 pounds of boost but it is easier to achieve...much easier.
So now that I have addressed my air issues what is next: a Piers #5 plate, or a set of the RV230 injectors form Wildcat. What kind of HP increases would I see with each, and what kind of changes would I see in my mileage?

take your plate out, grind it flat so it equals a #0 plate. adjust the lever arm in the pump to so it hits the plate and doesn't ride beneath it (-plateless zone). that's max fueling...anymore will have to be done through injectors. in this case, your right foot controls fueling and egts.

how much power are you looking for? 8)

Tom

I would be happy to be at 350hp in the next few months.

You won't get the full benifit out of the injectors with the stock plate. The first thing is a plate, I recommend the #4 for the HP you are looking for, then the 4,000 rpm and AFC spring kits, after that you will be able to take advantage of the injectors either 370's or DD2's your choice there are others also. I would skip the 230 injectors as they won't make the HP that you want.
Bruce

Re:Just installed my 4" Jennetty exhaust

Now I have a couple of days on my new exhaust and let me tell you, I love it! I have read that you don't need a 4" until you reach 350hp but I doubt I needed many of my other upgrades. It may not add any HP but you couldn't tell by driving it. The truck is deffintly quicker. I can't wait until I can hide a few hundred more dollars from my wife so I can add MORE POWER.
