intercooler nitrous kits?

Have you seen these NOS intercooler spray kits? They seem like a good idea, I am just curious if anybody has used one? --Neil

I've spoken with a member who made his own. He said it helped him run more consistantly on the drag strip. The ricer kits on ebay only cover a intercooler the size of a small shoebox. The kit he made ran 1/2" aluminum tubing around the perimeter of the cooler. The tubing had pinholes every 3" that sprayed towards the center.

Is there any advantage of spraying the nitrous on the outside of the intercooler vs injecting it into the airflow right before the intercooler?

It's obvoiusly not the same huge increase in power as direct injection, but it does help by keeping the intercooler air temps more consistant. Unless I was looking for every last .01 second in the 1/4 mile, I would not see it being a worthy investment.

Yah, I just wonder what you could gain on a dyno run?:D
