Right now i have a k&N air filter in stock air box in my 01.. I was wondering if anyone else has this setup and like/dislike it? i was thinking about upgrading and have heard about the BHAF but which air filters do you prefer.

 

the bhaf is a far superior filter than a k and n.I say its superior because it actually filters the air because its paper.The k n lets oil into the turbo .Ive seen it on every truck thats had one.If you drive on dirt roads the paper is the only way to go

 

i never hardly drive on dirt roads so that isnt too big of a problem for me and i have heard that about the oiled filters.

 

I had a BHAF, but switched to the AFE stage 1 Race version. I like the AFE alot better than the BHAF.

 

You're not going to see a difference in hp at your level. The difference would be better filtration with a bhaf or afe and more turbo noise in the cab. Egts might drop a bit too.
