Installed Edge mileage max, no fuel pressure now

I installed a new Edge milegae max this morning, went to start and lift pump would not kick in. I checked the wiring and everything is plugged in. The data port plug is a dead end wire with a plastic cap plugged into it,close to the firewall and lift pump Correct? I tried key a couple of times now lift pump works. Does this box have anything to do with turning on electric pump?

not sure, take it off and see if it works then. If not then your lift pump could have gave out. They are known to just quite on you. Get an upgraded fuel system such as fass, ppe, airdog, raptor, and holly blue. You will need this even in stock form. Also get at least a fuel pressure gauge too!!

I got her started, runs good. It seems that the electric pump only cuts in after engine has started. I have a gauge and light. I was wondering if the box is doing this. I will phone the Edge people on Monday.

I phoned the Edge company and they said this is normal. Might make it hard to bleed system.

Would it be wise to hook the lift pump to run full time? I am just thinking of the times when I change fuel filter and have to bleed system.

No, the VP's do not like to have pressure against them when starting the engine, makes for harder starts. Leave the Lift Pump on its original ECM Harness, IMO.

When you bump the starter/engine does the pump run then?
