I want 500 HP
I would like to here some suggestions on what i need to do to reach a goal of 500 HP this summer, no more than 550 to 600. I am going to go all out once, I don't want to linger with this all summer. All current mods on my truck are in my signature. So lets here it, what do you guys think? What are some good combonations?
Also, this is not a daily driver, just a weekend toy.

If you go to a drag comp box, bigger injectors stack a smarty in with our twins that will have you right in the range you want to be and the driveability will be great. Our 02 Auto ran a similar setup and was 630hp on the stock vp44 pump.

stage5 jammers, an adrenaline, possibly a bigger turbo, more tranny upgrades, actually make your own twin setup, its always nice to see people going about their own ways with certain setups

I wouldn't play with jammers, why would you cheap out on injectors on a 12,000 dollar engine? I made 533hp/1085tq on fuel with my setup( haven't tried the water methanol yet, still on stock head bolts). If you use a larger turbo, such as a 64/14, you should be around 550-570. I really wished I had gone bigger on the turbo, egt's were a little hot( around 1700 for a few seconds on the dyno) Adrenaline is an amazing box however, would highly recommend it. I have an extra one if you're interested in it.

I made 491/999 with the adrenaline with defueling(i didn't realize i had the 2025 tune loaded with defueling). I had the edge juice with attitude before I had the adrenaline, though, doesn't even compare to the adrenaline. I made the 533/1087 with the rowj tune on the adrenaline.

Sounds good to me^^. The BD twins are PROVEN to make very good power and spool very well in addition to having good fit and finish.
For injectors, something in the Mach 4 or DDP150 range will do the trick with manageable off-boost smoke control.
In lieu of a Drag Comp, the Quadzilla Adrenaline is an exciting new option to consider. That said, the Drag Comp is the standard in hi-po modules. Nothing else combines the features, power, and smoothness.
The power levels you're considering my necessitate some sealing enhancements to the cylinder head. Studs would be a starting point, but an O-ring might be needed.
Even with ARPs, a stock gasket might not be perfectly reliable at the 500hp mark, though I lot depends on your particular setup (timing, fuel quality, turbo configuration, etc).

Sounds good fellas. I appreciate all of the comments, and i'm definitely gonna look into the bd twins. I was gonna go with a large single stage but how sweet would it be to have twins??? I just need somewhat decent reliability. Thanks!

Read My sig. 496hp\960tq. Change the comp to a "hot" Comp and you'll be over 500 by a little. Jammers are Junk??? I paid $400 for mine and have been really happy. Truck runs great and still gets 20mpg @60-75mph.

Personally I would rater spend the extra money and know that I am getting a great set of injectors. I've had a couple buddies that ran the jammers, and had no problems, but they did smoke quite a bit more, and get quite a bit hotter than the other trucks I know of running DDP's or F1 injectors. I definately wouldn't say that the Jammers are junk, it's just like anything else in this game, To Each His Own.

IMHO I think Jammer 5's were the best money I have spent on my truck and I would highly recommend them I got mine from a buddy who sells them for $349.00 I think.

It seems that everyone who has posted their results has a standard output pump, while the truck in question is almost guaranteed to have a high output pump. Will it respond as well to the same mods? Are those pumps capable of the higher power levels? I know that a standard output pump has been used many times on trucks going for the high numbers. Just a thought.
