I miss the torque

I finaly got gauges, so now I can do modes and know were I'm at with EGTS and boost.

The first thing I did after the gauges was slide the stock plate all the foward and close the set screw on the boost elbow. Wow what a differance felt like you the front tires were going to pull of the ground when you took off. But I get up to 70mph and it flattened out. So I did some searches here and found out about the 100 hundred plate. I ground my stock plate to a 100 and slide it and the afc housing all they way forward. The top end is great but now lacking torque on the bottom end, I have to put a lot of pedal to it at take off. It is fun to be going down the high way at 70 and punch it and take off like a rocket. But I like the torque better.

So I want the torque back. I would like some suggestions on what to do before I make any changes.

I have the stock turbo and I'm at stock timing. I'm planning on having the timing set at 15.5*

Would installing a 10 plate help?

Your AFC is probably further back than it was with the 10 plate, which is why you have less bottom end. Slide the AFC forward and you'll get more torque. If that doesn't satisfy you, pull the plate completely.

So what happens if I pull the plate? Will it be all low end power? Also what about towing with no plate?
