I know it takes some fuel and exhaust to get a turbo lit, but usually you seee a steady stream of smoke, then its gets darker and darker while climbing out more and more quickly then BOOM! it lights...

This seems like it was instant...

Maybe he already had it spooled when he launched. Boosted launch.

It's an auto, with alot of fuel and a good spooling turbo. Put all those together and as you start dropping the hammer everything comes together. The drag from my clutch past about 3900 rpm gets my s-400 to do that:D

they know what they are doing and have lots of time and knowledge into tuning those trucks to run very well.

Either its a boosted launch with an auto or more likely a dual/ triple disk clutch being engaged quickly.

Its an auto like 24Vpuller said. Terry's truck is awesome...

Check the other video's that I posted up....A lot of good trucks from last saturday.

I am surprised to see autos in truck pulls. Maybe I'm old school...
