how can you tell a s300 12 turbine housing from a 14?
I was trying to trouble shoot a boost problem when I thought I would check for casting numbers. There seem to be no numbers cast on the housing. The part numbers for the unit are on the wastegate actuator. so how can I tell the differences?

Borg Warner doesn't use square centimeter cross sectional area to describe their exhaust housings like Holset.
Like Tate sez, they use an area/turbine radius ratio.
The sad part is I don't understand it fully or know how to describe it.
Mine is a .70 AR. What I do know is I had to enlarge each hole a good .030" to match it with my exhaust manifold....which was enlarged to match the 14cm exhaust housing I have on my hybrid I used to run.
