My VP-44 is dieing and i am in the market for a hot rod pump. I have been on some performance diesel sites that sell them and was wondering if they are all reasonably the same or if there is a specific pump that is better than another. Also does anyone know of a web site that sells mopar factory parts.

 

I have read good things about the Industrial Injection pump

 

Both the HR and the SO VP44's are supposed to offer the same top end and it looks like you're close to it so don't expect huge gains on your truck by adding the hrvp. Industrial Injections makes a great pump though.

 

On a stock truck what is the gain supposed to be with a HR VP?

 

Gains can be 20-80 hp depending on the truck. Mine came from Industrial Injection, and has not give me one minutes trouble. Give Doug Smith from PDW a call, he is a good guy to work with.

 

My truck dinoed 430/820 about 9 months ago. the truck died after my second dino # also idol real rough after hard driving. According to the dino operator it was do to my VP. My question is will i see around 500 HP next dino event with HRVP.

 

If you don't it's due to your turbo.... We had a truck with Mach 4's, HRVP, Drag Comp, and a SPS66 do 605 RWHP!
