Hey everyone,

My cousin decided to take off the Superchip downloader on her truck in order to let someone else try it. She returned her truck back to the stock setting before taking the Superchip off. When the other person tried to download it onto his truck, it wouldn't let him download it. When my cousin tried to reinstall the Superchip back onto her truck, now it won't let it download back onto her truck, and now her truck won't even start We tried disconnecting the battery cables and resetting the computer, and still no luck. What should we do now?

Her truck is a 2002 2500 with a 4" straight pipe and the Superchip. Everything else is stock.

Basically right now her truck will not allow the Superchip download anything back onto her truck, and her truck will not start either. What's all of your opinions on the situation?

I would give Superchips a call and see what their take is on this. Worst case you can have the dealer reflash it with the stock program.

 

Yeah, that kind of what I thought. How much is it to reflash the computer? Whenever I you first turn on the key to the truck, the "wait to start" light flashes repeatedly, and the truck just cranks and cranks. It won't start. I'll give superchips a call tomorrow and hopefully find some more out about this.

 

There is a fuse that needs to be pulled. Not sure which one, look at the instruction book and it should tell you.
