Exclamation HELP question about possible fuel press gauge??

Ive been looking into getting a fuel pressure gauge and got to looking under the hood and noticed that there is already an adapter plugged into the bottom of my fuel filter and a tube runs up to another fitting that has an electric plug in it. that then runs up into my cab through the firewall and has three wires (purple, black , and gray) could I possibly just buy a gauge and hook it up to those? and if so what kind of gauge does that sound like?
Thanks Guys

Sounds like the gauges were removed from the truck when sold. Sure sounds like an electric sender to me. Clean it off and see if you can get a part number or manufactuer. Also might wanna check and see if a egt probe is installed in the manifold. A trick to help the sender for the gauge live a longer life is to install the needle valve as a snubber in line with the sender to help keep pulsing down to the senders diaphram.

On edit i see you have a egt gauge.
