Help with Governor springs

I recently installed a 3000 GSK from TST. I have their #6 plate installed. They recomend using the GSK with only a # 4 for my truck. Does anyone have any suggestions on how to tune this setup. Can I tighten the tension on my stock springs to raise fuel govern point. Can I loosen the tension on the 3000 springs to lower fuel govern point. PLEASE HELP the unknowns are driving me nuts. THANKS

after the spring install your RPMs should be almost the same as before the install . If the springs are to tight you will loose upper end power and RPMs to loose and the assembly could come apart , if your Idle is higher then before your probably to tight
