I have a buddy that wants to sell me some stuff for a 12v and I was just wondering if these are good prices.
Fuel Cam Plate, Any Grind $225.00
4k rev kit w/ HD Valve Springs $300.00
A couple other things but that those wont happen till later.

well I think you can get it all cheaper from a different place. I paid 225 for the 4k gov kit and springs. and 150 for the fuel plate.

You can buy a plate cheaper than $225. They usually run around $150 and you have the added option of throwing your stocker back in (I can't for the life of me think of a good reason to do it, but...) just in case. Was the 4k springs quote for installation, too? Then it would seem okay. Otherwise, they can be found cheaper, as well. Look on the links from this site and shop around.

One reason is so when your son turns 16 and wants your truck [ like mine has already spoke about and he's just 9 ] you can turn it back down some and give him the thrill of getting this POWER a little at a time like I have.
All at once would take a lot of grinns out of play.

I also know what I would have done with this kinda POWER at 16. [ I did : ]

Good point. So there you have it...A reason to buy a new plate and save the stock.
