Glacier Diesel fuel boss ordered WOO_HOO

I finally ordered the Fuel Boss today. Now I have time to look around for a filter to mount pre pump and wait for a little warmer wearher to rip stuff apart and do the install.

Thanks to the DTR store for the great deal and free shipping on order. This place just flat ROCKS !!!

Awesome, you will like it... Looking at the mods you have, wondering if you bought the Hyper Drive?

I just went with the regular drive. It should still be 17-19 at WOT. I will see anyway. I can always change the pulley if needed.

i installed a mitusa in the summer of last year. i'm pretty sure the two pumps are similar if not the same. the mitusa install from Opie is so much simpler than the GDP kit. you could, if you wanted, install it as per opies directions and eliminate the stock LP/electronics all together. despite what some may think - the pump by itself builds fuel pressure INSTANTLY as soon as the engine cranks. had a really cold winter here and had zero issues with fuel supply when starting. just something to think about if you want to 'keep it simple stupid'. a couple less things to leak/fail, and a good chunk of time off the install.

i did a thread on my mitusa install and linked some pics in photobucket. i have a pic of a pretty good mounting location for a filter . . .

i think the photobucket link is on the 2nd or 3rd page.

Sweet in a week I will be the proud papa of the fass ddrp if money was no object I would have gone that route but 295 vs 500. Both are good pumps and have been following them and see very little failure rates on both. Good bye air tex I have hated you since I first met you.
