Giving new meaning to turbo whistle !!
 

Whoo hoo !! Just installed my Scotty Air II tonite. I even cut the hole for it too. Wow, that turbo whistle it puts out is impressive, way better than a BHAF. This is probably the best performance mod I have done yet. http://deephousepage.com/smilies/thumb.gif

I think it is the best sound in the world!! I had a friend ( girl mind you ) ride in my truck awhile back, and she complained so much about it whining.......so needless to say whenever she wants to go somewhere now we always take HER car!!![laugh]

I had to put the Silencer ring back in after I cut the hole. I still get louder turbo whistle than I did with the BHAF and no ring.

Oh my fiance LOVES the turbo whistle.........this was just a friend of mine that rode with me!! She's a little prissy chick though, like cars better than trucks......good thing I never dated her!! LOL

My girl tries to find everyway possible to get to drive my truck......she's addicted!![laugh]

get a pete 379 with a 575 cat with straights and you wont be able to drive with the windows down,it becomes so irritating that you will get a headache from the turbo whistle.

where'd you get a scotty II i thought he quit making them

I'd rather have the whistle loud on the outside rather than in the cab. My AFE whistles pretty good, louder outside than in.:cool:

My GF love the truck! She always wants to drive it! The guy that had the truck before me had a Scotty II but took it out. I now have an AFE with a hole in the cowl! Sounds great!

I searched hi and low. I have been in the classifieds here looking for one for a while and nothing ever came up. I started browsing vendors and found 3 that still listed the Scotty II on thier website. 1 vendor I called told me I had called 3 days too late, as he sold his last one 3 days prior. The second vendor had 1 left, so I bought that one quick, fast, and in a hurry. And you are correct, Scotty put a hold on making any more, no word on if he will start making them again.

Installing it was easy too. Hardest part was lining up the hole saw for the hole in the cowling.
