Fuel Pressure

My buddy has the edge comp and his fuel pressure drops down to 9psi when he gasses it. Whats safe? Thanx

That sounds fair. I don't have any real mods and mine drops that low.

He should be okay, anything less and I would want to start thinking about a FASS or other upgrade pump.
Stock pump on stock truck should be 15psi idle/12.5-13.5 cruise/11-12 WOT. (at least thats what my #'s were)

Mine dropped to 9psi on 5x5 WOT with no problems for 18 months...with the Vulcan Big Line I'm now at 11psi WOT on 5x5.

9 psi is plenty. 5 or 6 gets the job done.

my gauge is red from 5 psi down. so "I" would feel fine running at 6 if i had to WOT to beat someone. haha.
