Fuel Mileage Settled!
Read first:
Ok guys, I've noticed a lot of interest in people wanting to know other people's fuel economy. So here is a thread that would show some clear data.
This is for mostly highway driving and loaded empty only! There is too much variation in weight and other factors if we tried to include towing fuel economy.
Try to post your common fuel mileage and not just the one time you got 23 mpg.
You may vote more than once. For example, if you get 14-16 mpg, then vote for 14, 15, and 16.

What! Are you serious Blue?
Show me another ride (that doesn't have a Cummins in it) with 500hp that gets 14mpg
I'm extremely happy with the 15mpg I get in town all things considered, plus that will jump up to 18-19 on the freeway empty. IMO that's simply awesome. I have driven 500hp BBCs on the street and they were all about 6-8mpgs.

Who knows why, but I get 29 - 30 on the interstate at 65 - 70 MPH,
18.5 mixed driving. Had someone PM me asking what I did to get that mileage, but it's always done that good. Well, it did get a little better once I advanced the timing, but not THAT much.

Around 16 to 17 mixed driving with 40s and 3.55 gear with the 5 speed. I cant complain with those numbers when my friend with a 4 cylindar toyota with 33s only gets 13 to 14.

Always averaged 22mpg with mostly back-country roads till I got this pesky sticky injector business ... With a sticky injector the monster gets about 17 and it's driving me nuts! I'm poor and my commute to the shop is a little less than 50 miles a day and I'm feeling it in my pocketbook.
We also have an '82 Chev service body truck with a 6.2 that gets 20 on a good day but usually averages 18mpg...
