ford manual hubs to dodge dana 60?
ford manual hubs to dodge dana 60?
i heard that ford d50 ttb hub/knuckle assemblies will fit on a dodge dana 60?, anyone know about this?
it would be a sweet conversion if it is possible to eliminate those unit bearings, and it would probably be half the $ of a dyna trac free spin kit

It still uses the unit bearings. But the lock out option would be nice and you could take the vacume lines from the CAD and use it to make the hubs work in the automatic setting like on the ford and can also be manualy locked. I think you would have to use the ford outer axle shaft. I will have to do some more looking into this.
Early dodge 60 had King pin knuckles and now have ball joint. post 99 ford has ball joint I think some pre 99 did too. I know early ford had King pin. Will have to check a friends truck.

1994-2002 4x4's all have ball joints. The difference is that in 2000, when they went to bigger brakes, they also switched the direction the ball joints entered the knuckle. I do not know which direction the Ford ball joints entered from. I have some pics at home, where another member here switched his front axle to a mid-90's F350 Dana 60. He got the slip on rotors, lock-out hubs, and dual piston calipers with that swap.
