flow adjustment for FP guage

I tried the local autoparts stores to no avail. Where could I find one (1/8 npt threads). I don't want the guage buzzing and I'm going to hook it up this weekend hopefully. Thanks

thanks Ed ! Weeeeeeeeeelll, I tried to order from Grainger but they say they dont sell to 'consumers'. Maybe I can find someone who has an account with them. My setup is diffferent but the same one will work just will mount in a different location. That is exactly what I need though.

Did you hook up the guage yet? I hooked up mine (when I had the Isspro FP guage) and didnt have any troubles. I used 7' of -3 SS braided hose and ran straight to the guage from the bottom of the filter housing. There was no pulse or buzz. You know the guage already has a restrictor. If you look at the back of the guage you will see the tiny little hole that the fuel goes in, so I dont see the need for more restrictors unless your delivery line is to short.

Re:flow adjustment for FP guage

I ran mine without the needle valve for about a year before I started to hear a buzz in the gauge.
After installing the needle valve all was again quiet.

I was trying to recall where I'd seen my needle valve before and it finally occurred to me this is the same valve that's used to hook up refrigerator ice makers to the water line. The fitting are 1/4 NPT if I remember right. I took my extra valve into Lowes and found the right connector that I needed.
