Ok so I have a few questions about my plans for a set of budget twins.

1) Would an Air Research M24 (71 or 72mm inducer) do the trick? (For all you Deere fans it is the same turbo as found on 8850's with the 955cid V-8

2) How do I regulate boost? is it all done through the wastegate on the secondary or do I need to have a pop-off valve of sorts on the intake side of things?

3) Would going with an HX40 w/12cm WG housing do me any good?

4) Where do I find the gasket for the back of the exhaust side of my stock secondary so that I can custom fab a down pipe that bolts directly to the turbo itself?

 

You'll have to regulate boost one way or the other. You can use blow off valves, but IMO it's the same as a boost leak. IMO the beter way to go would be to have a 38mm external WG on the top turbo. See how that works. If you're still getting to much pull the hot pipe off and put a 50mm on it. Tow WG is ideal because you can regulate the amount of boost on each turbo.
