A few newbie questions

I have a 2001 2500 Auto.

Right now I have the Edge Juice w/ Attitude, 4 inch TBE, K&N drop in filter, and FASS.

In the near future I am getting the AFE stage 2 intake with the AFE boost elbow.

But I am looking for more out of my truck. It is just boring me right now.

I have read about stacking tuners. And from what I have researched the Smarty seems to pick up the low end that the Edge misses. Is that true?

What about a set of Jammers? The price doesn't seem too steep either. What level hp would work for me?

I have kept my Edge at level 3 due to the fear of my transmission calling it quits. Are my fears justified? Or could I go further?

Would the Smarty and Jammers be a noticeable gain? I am not so much worries about EGT's. If they get too high I might throw my Cooling mist kit on the truck that I have lying around here.

Thanks for the input.

tranny upgrade first!!!!! Smarty is a great stack and I wouldn't get jammers. I would get either Mach, ddp, or coaltrain. You could get either 100's or 150's and be ok without a turbo upgrade.

Any suggestions to which brand of transmissions? If I have to break the bank for a transmission I might as well go all out and make it a high HP truck.

Most all of the major brands are good. But having a local installer is what I would look for. Where are you located and someone on here will tell you who the local Goerend, DTT, HTS, Suncoast, Floor It Diesel trannies or other builder is for where your at. I have a Floor It Diesel tranny in my truck and love it. But if John wasn't where he's at I would have a Goerend due to Gilmore Performance in Kingdom City being the official Missouri installer for Goerend.

Your question really depends on how you use your truck. If you tow at all you can't go to big injectors with your stock turbo. If you don't want to spend a ton on your trans and you currently have a good working trans you will probably be fine with an upgraded valve body and new torque converter. It really depends on how much you want to spend.
I have had my Jammers for a few years and haven't had any issues with them. I had them built and tested by an injection shop. Eric

I use my truck everyday for a DD. I originally bought the truck with plans to tow a drag car. But after driving it I for a few months I love it! I just want more.

I still want it to be able to tow a drag car eventually but I would like to make it fast as well.

I am located in Md. So no matter what I should be looking at a trans first?
