Fass??
Are there any supporting mods i would need before I look into gettings a FASS system? Could i install one as my truck is now without any problems?(sig) And what are the advantages to a FASS fuel system?
you can put one on no problem. I put one on my buddys stock truck. You will only need a 95gpm with your current setup.
i was looking into the 150gpm or whatever it was. so i have room to play in the future you know? is this ok?
I'm only running a 95gpm on mine at this time unless you are going to do some major mods you should be fine. They recomended that I didn't run too big on a daily driver that the pump wouldn't last as long.
ok, thanks. next question where can i find the best deal?
shop around. vulcan performance has them
On vulcan performance i see the
FASS 180 GPH Adjustable 12v Pump Kit for 94-98 Dodge/Cummins but i should be looking for the 95gph right? |
Just out of curiosity, why are you getting a Fass system on your 96?
Well im not sure if im getting one im trying to figure out if i should or not. but i have heard many good things about them, and figured why not.

Unless you have a real need for one, I, and I am sure that others would agree, you don't need one. Our mechanical lift pumps are very reliable and strong. The only CTD's that need a Fass or Walbro are the ones with the VP-44 injection pump. Their fuel set-up is completely different. A lot of $ to spend on something you may not need.
