explain FASS and FASS II

Could someone explain the difference to me. I see the FASS and FASS high performance fuel pump on this webpage: http://www.dieselpp.com/. I understand that the FASS replaces the lift pump and factory fuel filter. Does that mean that if I install a FASS I can remove the lift pump and fuel filter units. What's the difference between the two FASSes. On the webpage it doesn't seem to give much info on the FASS high performance pump. There seems to be a big price difference. Thanks for your help and remember you are talking to a newbie without a lot of experience.

Opps I meant to put this in the 24V section. Could a moderator move it for me please?

Original FASS includes Fuel Filter and Water Separator; allows you to remove lift pump and fuel filter canister...see my gallery!
FASS II is the same pump...without the filter/separator. Requires leaving fuel lines to stock fuel filter & canister. Replaces lift pump only.

Both FASS come in 95 gpm or 150 gpm capacities. I can't see anyone ever needing the 150 gpm pump. I have the 95 gpm pump (much quietier)...with a 5 Micron fuel filter (stock is 10 microns) and can not pull fuel pressure below 13.5 psi at WOT.

Six months ago...I found best prices here... http://www.cmpchips.com/index.html Ask for Dan...he runs a FASS and is very knowledgable and very nice.
