Edge EZ question Or Oil Pressure Problem - Are they Related?

I have a 1999 Cummins which I just installed a Edge EZ box in last night. I bought the box on ebay a while back and just got around to installing it. Problem is, when I come to a stop the "check gauges" light comes on the oil pressure has dropped to nothing. I have found that while driving or under load it is fine. I have also noticed that is only a problem when the truck in in drive. If you put the truck in nuetral then the oil pressure goes back to normal within seconds. Any thoughts? Is the Edge EZ box causing this or is it something else. I have never had this problem before. Should I just remove the box? Any help would greatly be appreciated.

Thanks
Jared

Remove the EZ and see if it happens. That's a good starting point.

I removed the Edge EZ and found that the oil pressure is fine. Something with the Edge EZ box made my truck oil pressure drop when stopped in drive when the box was installed. Any thoughts?

Side note, the "Wtaer in fuel" was also on when the box was installed but went otu when I removed the box.

Sounds like you might have gotten a bad box.
Is it new or used? Might be able to contact Edge and see if they will help out.

check the pins in the edge and make sure they are all locked into the connector. Also search about a faulty oil sensor in that truck I am pretty sure I have read a few threads about them being finicky in that year.
