Ian, the harness the same for the 99-00's... 01-01.5 are the same.. and 2002... There are 3 different wiring harness.. What do you have.. and what are you needing, I might be able to help..

i'm looking for a used edge comp for my 2000CTD, so i'm not looking to break the bank. I don't care what year the comp is for, as long as I can hook it up to my truck in some way or another

The MAP sensor voltages were changed for 2001+ . So its best if you find a 98.5 to 2000 box, just make sure it has the right plug for the 2000.

You can buy the adaptor for the 98.5 - 00 Comp that lets you plug into the 00 harness if the used Comp you find does not have it. When you buy a new 98.5 - 00 Comp it comes wired with the connector to plug into the 98.5 - 99 MAP and includes the adaptor to plug into the 00. These guys are right, though.....you cannot use a 01 and later Comp as it is programmed to operate with a different MAP voltage and will not operate properly in a 00 and down CTD. You must get the 98.5 - 00 Comp.
