early 2nd gen vs late 2nd gen wheel backspacing?
Anyone know the difference between the backspacing on say a 96 truck vs an 01 truck? I have wheels off an 01 on my 96 and had to turn the outside of the drums down to get the wheels on the rear. I am assuming this is because the backspace is different. The guy I traded with put my wheels on his 01 and the wheels made his drums look like thread spools (small). How much more is a 315/75/16 going to rub with a 2" leveling kit with the wheels I have vs a wheel with the correct backspacing?
