DPP Exhaust Problem, not good at all
DPP Exhaust Problem, not good at all
The problem is that it isn't Stump proof, what's up with that
Did I have you worried Mark......
Had to back a 40' trailer into somewhere where it didn't really belong thismorning. Ended up backing up against a stump which flattened that really nice Stainless Steel tip :'( and kinked the exhaust pipe at the first bend. That in turn came against the mud flap and ripped it half loose taking a small chunk out of the lip of the dually fender where the inner fender attaches to it.
The day has not started out to good :-
Oh ya, I still love the exhuast Mark, looks like you get to sell me a new tip for sure and I have to see if I can straighten the pipe out or not.

Re:DPP Exhaust Problem, not good at all
I am going to see if I can salvage the tail pipe this week end and get the kink out of it with a little reactive hamering. But I will be calling for a tip for sure.

Mudder - sounds like you need stacks - forget about stuff poking up - you would have to start worrying about stuff hanging down

Merrick - kinda harks back to the old Lil Reds and Warlocks with the outboard stacks.

And actually looks kinda cool on a dually. Might not look as good on a 2500, though, without the pontoons behind them.

Re:DPP Exhaust Problem, not good at all
Here's a pic from the side.
I've seen 3" pipes on the side of 2500's, but not on 3500's, except mine.
Hey, but if you don't want stacks, Mark's systems are the way to go.
I had a customer opt out of buying Mark's system, for $100 or $200, and went to another vendor, and he spent two days, installing, cutting, re-bending, no customer service, and didn't even get a Chrome Rolled Tip!!
