No you shouldn't need a boost fooler to run the pump. Granted your EGT's might get a little warmer since the HRVP adds more fuel but you should be ok. I'd test her out and watch your egts and how well the smoke clears up, that should tell you whether you need more boost and you can go from there.

Yes you should be ok, I don’t think you will hit enough boost to have a problem. Or to through a code.

Trapper a boost fooler is different from a boost elbow.

Dear confused Mr Trapper- let me attempt to clear this up:

Wastegate bypasses air around the turbine at a set amount of boost in order to keep boost down. The point in which a wastegate opens can be manipulated with a boost elbow or boost controller. A boost fooler is an electronic device (included in every box but a superchip) which prevents the ecm from throwing p0234 overboost codes and the defueling.

Clear as mud?

I'd think getting some guages would be more important than boost fooling at this point, at least a pyro since you're adding fuel. If you put a boost elbow on with the juice install, take it back off and you won't overboost =P Or you can just buy a cheaper box like a power puck instead of the boost fooler =P
