Disappointment
Have you tried to run it without the comp? Try it with the Torque Dog. I don't know about anyone else, but the EGTs seem kind of low for that amount of fuel. I would have thought you would be seeing 1500+. Is the truck defueling? Have you looked into the BD RAD?
You are right, the egt is way too low for that set up.......the boost will be closer to 50 psi than 35 psi with the little HY running WAY out of it's range.....I suspect the power loss with the Comp set high is from a badly over speeding turbo.....A 5x5'd Comp and M4's are far too much for a 12cm HX35, nevermind the little HY. Something is weird here......almost like the Comp isn't working properly.......M4's alone should get the egt's to 1400* easily with the HY.
No telling where the problem is...but you definately need more air! Solve that problem and go from there. I would say you are lucky the HY-35 held together over several 1/4 miles.
I remember seeing 42 psi on my stock HY-35...and feeling it just level off and stop pulling! Boost would keep climbing...but speed would climb in slow motion. I believe that was with an EZ and DD3's....not sure. The sound of the HY-35 at over 40 psi scared me so badly...I never did it again.

Keep in mind that boost pressure can be caused by the expansion of hot air just as much as from the compression of said air. One gets less O2 into the engine, one gets more.
Your HY is making boost from HEAT, not compression. You should never run an HY35 past 32psi.
FYI-- I could see 1600 EGT from M4s with just a MAD ECM (which stays within stock fueling). Never mind the GOBS of extra fuel that a COMP would dump on 5x5.
What happening in your case is that you are so overfueled that not only is the fuel putting the fire out, it's cooling the EGT through the evaporation of the fuel.
You are risking major engine damage.
You want to put this in perspective? YOU ARE OVERFUELED FOR AN HX40!! How do you expect an HY to cope??

I agree with HOHN !!! you have no idea how lucky you are that you havent done any serious damage with that combo. I would suggest turning the comp off untill you change out the turbo to one to support say 500hp then you will see some different 1/4s
yes turn off the comp..........i didnt relize how close the m4 put you to the max hp the stock turbo handles before it pops.......but to have a comp on it alos....your digging yourself a large whole for possable other problems....
Thanks Guys for the input. I am looking into all mentioned corrections. Until then which should not be long I'll take it easy. Just the one question that still lingers is I would have thought the Mach 4s along with a setting, Low - medium - high (somewhere)on the EZ Comp would have would have equaled the sloppy BullyDog Stage 1s and the Comp on 5x5. I guess I just changed too many parameters in changing to larger sticks. At this time I'm just running with the comp on 1x1 with good power, EGTs about the same as with the Stage 1s and looks to be getting better fuel mileage with less smoke (hardly any) Thats the good news at this time. Once again thanks for all the back up. One thing about this site, you ask and you shall receive....
