Hello! I am new to diesels and also to northern Texas. I was wondering if there any good diesel performance shops around Wichita Falls, Dallas, Fort Worth area. I would like some gauges installed and ask a few questions. All the shops around my area are not really into putting aftermarket things on diesels. Any help would be great. Thanks

I know DonM is out of DFW somewhere but Im not exactly sure where hes located beings that Ive never done more than over the phone stuff with him. You might look him up on one of these boards and send him a PM. Hes a real nice guy, and VERY knowledgeable .
Im located in Stephenville (60 miles south of Ft. Worth) and those are the only 2 places, near Ft. Worth, that are (to my knowledge) reputible and that are capable of doing REAL performance work. Dont bother stopping anywhere in Weatherford, for reasons better left untold :.
You may also try WTTD (West Texas Turbo Diesel) I think he's located in either Abiline or maybe Lubbock :- (not exactly sure, but hes out west anyhow :) Chase is a VERY nice guy and Im sure he'd be glad to help you out as well.

When it's time for some tranny work, you won't have to drive too far to Midlothian TX. James Northum did my tranny with all the DTT goodies and I drove home the next day. Best mod so far but also the most $$.
