924hp VP44 truck

I read it over and over again in diesel power and im pretty sure it was not a p-pumped 24v, but a VP44 truck on serious nitrous that turned out 924hp...anyone else see this?

i hope its true so we can have at least one little thing to brag about as VP44 owners

Brian Carter was at a dyno event last weekend, and his truck is a 03, molten red, QC, 4x4, dually. He has Piers towing twins, big injectors/cp3, and a bunch of N2O, and he did 8XX/14XX on spray. it was

i remember seeing something about an 840hp vp44 nitrous truck in a previous diesel power, said he drives it for work everyday too.

anyway the truck we are referring to is not an 03 and not a common rail truck. i am talking about a VP44 truck that did 924hp and was mention in Aprils Diesel power.

I saw that truck but I think he had a 200hp dual stage N20 kit on that rig. I prefer seeing #2 only dyno numbers myself, I think that is more of a bragging right... IMO

True enough with regards to #2 dyno results. However, vp44 fueled trucks will be hard pressed to see over 650 on fuel alone.

there are a handful of VP44 over 650 on fuel only, and only one of them is over 700 and that was by a fraction of a HP. not sure if the truck is even around anymore.

i'd just like to get over 600 on fuel with a single charger VP44 truck...that'll be my bragging rights!

If I remeber right it was 700.1 but Jetpilot said it was assisted by the nitrous that was left in lines but no extra shot. I do believe the elusive 700 hasn't been made on #2 yet.

that was done 2 years ago.

with a set of the right injectors, well matched twins, an H2 or H3 cam, and redline box with some sorta of timing stack i am sure its possible now. because you can only get so much fuel out of the VP44, you need to make the most of every bit you get so improved airflow will be key.

i just know that i dont have the money to do it.

I know, If i run into a bunch of money I would like to make it happen. Its kinda of the same thing with rotary VE pump only so much fuel availible.
