What is the difference between a 3/4 ton front axle and a Daully front axle? What i am after is what do i need to run Daully front wheels?

The dually axle just uses a spacer attached to the SRW studs.

As far as I know. Yes there is a spacer. You could probably order it from dodge, but the junkyard would be cheaper.

The rotors are the difference - drw rotors are cast with the spacer extensions integral - find a set in yer local boneyard, see if they will interchange - I rather think they won't, unless you change the spindles\ball-joints, etc - add-on spacers may be available, aftermarket.

Why wouldn't they interchange?

Couldn't i just order new 3500 rotors from napa if they will interchange?

Might be best if you got one from a boneyard complete with the bearings and everything - see if it fits your spindle B4 you plunk down the wampum for a new one - those huge chunks of machined iron cannot be cheap

3500 has much greater GVWR, needs steering and braking to match - I'd do a little inexpensive R&D B4 commiting

It seems to me that the 3/4 has a Dana 60 ft & Dana 70 rear , the 1T has a Dana 70 ft. the rear axial in the 1T would be a Dana 80 .
This goes for only the diesels .
Depending the gassers could have a Dana 44 in ft on a 3/4 .
I do not think that there is any interchange of part from the 70 & 80 to 60 but some depending from 60 to 44 , they keep us guessing , from what I figured out over the yrs is that there could be 2-3 variations in suspension between 1/2 , 3/4 & 1T , like finding a Dana 44 in ft. for both a 1/2 & 3/4 T , basically a light & heavy in each weight class , thats why knowing the GVW of each axial will lessen the likely hood of getting the wrong parts .

Mine has a 60 front. If I take the spacer off, I'm left with the same axle as a SRW. Isn't the 2500/3500 CTD front the same?

You must have a 2wd pickup. 4wd and I think its the 2k+ trucks 2wd use the bolt on spacer up front. The older trucks like ours have the cast extension.
