Question Converting a Cab and Chasis

I need some suggestions.
I have an 02 3500 dually cab and chasis with no bed. We bought a dually bed and want to put it in the cab and chasis, problem is the cab and chasis rearend is narrower than the new bed. What can I do to widen the wheel base. I have heard of spacers, they look simple, Are they safe. I haul alot of stock and cant afford fixing one problem to create another.
Thanks for you help

the C&C is also longer. so you will either have a horrible looking gap at the cab or your wheel wells wont be center

I put a new one under my truck, all I could find was a dually axle. Mine with disk brakes was $1500 that was the cheapest I could find at the time. good luck

I would put a flatbed on it

Why is it that they make the C&C axles more narrow?

How about a regular box with bed floor notched and wheel humps chopped and sectioned to clear the inner tire, add bushwacker fender flares to cover the meats. Or just put in a lift kit and add the flares....this works!
