Question comp or smarty

heres the deal i got an 01 dodge ram 2500 4x4 with 110,000 miles on it also stock 47re tranny that has been given a hard time but that is still holding up pretty good now things that arint stock i got a 5 inch stright pipe that is about to become a single 7 inch miter cut stack and i also have autometer fuel,tranny,pyro and boost guages installed.what i was wanting to know what would be the best bang for my buck smarty, comp or maybe even a tst but i want something to give the best power and maybe even a good little cloud of black smoke when i want i aslo tow every day about 8,000 lbs and latter in time i will be adding f1 injecters and phat shaft turbo or twins but any way what box do yall think i should go with??? thinks in advince for the advice!!

i would go with the comp box first because of the larger hp gain and its on the fly adjustability and stack it with the smarty later on down the line.

I would go with the comp, I love mine, they are very reliable boxs and put out pretty good horsepower and torque.

I have both and love em! just installed the comp friday and its making my 5 speed slip. so i ordered a Southbend Con OFE.

I installed a comp on an 01 5 spd 4x4 DRW with C&M flat bed, and fabbed up an alum diamond plate intake with an AFE filter, 5" exhaust with 5" stacks outside the bed that smoke perfectly even (and by smoke i mean clouds on level 5 sub-level 5 ) and regulated the boost to 35psi. P.S. he pulled a 32' long 10' tall trailer for a moving service across the country and could run on level 3 with a stock clutch and low EGT's
