Cheap Dealer for FASS ???

Anyone recommend an inexpensive place to get a Fass pump?
Just the pump, not the pump with filters.

Ken's performance or Diesel Dan

I've been trying to find a website for Diesel Dan, but no luck!

He is a member here and works for FASS... He will just direct you to a FASS dealer...

You will have a tough time beating the prices at www.vulcanperformance.com and there is FREE shipping on all FASS products.

i second that![director]
i just went and picked mine up from eric there and have yet to install it. but, i can not say enough about the customer service i got while there.
i spent two weeks researching a new lift pump and i settled on the fass from vucan perf. eric will be at the sema show till monday but call him on monday and tell travis sent you. there is nothing in it for me but he may toss something in for you though. can't wait to screw up the install on saturday![laugh]

heykw: I too have a hard time believing there isn't a pump out there that is as good or better than a fass and less expensive. Here is a link to a bunch of pumps at Amazon. Holly and Walbro are in there for price comparison. I have also been thinking about pumps for big rigs...would they work in our trucks???. What do they cost? etc etc. I would think they would supply plenty of fuel[laugh] BTW Fram uses the name Air Hog on their Air Filters.

http://www.amazon.com Look in the automotive section.

No such thing as a cheap fASS dealer!

Who would want a cheap product? The same person Who would want constant failures, Scamming Dealers, Incorrect information, faulty parts, Hassles with warranty, NO CUSTOMER SERVICE.... So tell me, Would you rather have a cheap product, or the other guys product? Belive it or not, 5 out of 10 would think the cheaper product is better, its just the name, 3 of the 5 just are not able to cover the financial burden. Which in some sense is to say, If you buy a truck like this, Its not a honda, its not a ford escort, its not a 87 f150 or 57 Chevy. Its a machine, it is not designed to be a grocery getter or a mini van. Now given, we love our truck and use them for these minor task but these trucks are ment to haul trackhoes, dirt, gravel , push snow, pull campers , if your pushing your truck to these limits, IT at some point will have a failure of some type ITS GIVEN..... Machines break, We pay to fix them... If i construction company buys a $250,000.00 peice of equipment for a peticular job, and it has a failure, they dont complain about how crappy it was or how expensive it is to fix. THEY FIX IT, it makes the money, they have to fix it... .Look at your truck the same way! Its a machine not a mini van.... Be prepared to pay for its needs!

Sorry for the rant!

I don't think the original poster is trying to be cheap? He's just trying to save money, and fix the truck right at the same time. Why spend 200 on something when you can get it elsewhere for 150? If it's the same product, whats the problem?
