CFM Plus Intake

Would a CFM Plus intake make a difference on a pretty much stock truck? Came across a deal and was wondering if it was worth it. Thanks for your help.

check the 3rd gen performance forum, about 2 weeks ago the did some testing and it raised torque 125 ft lbs about 500rpm ealrier in the power band, worth it IMO

If it a cold air intake, it would have a small EGT reduction benefit.

JR, this is an intake manifold, not an air filter:D

I did see the dyno runs on the 3rd gens and it was actually pretty impressive. Although I think the reason for most of the gain is because the 3rd gen airhorns are way more restrictive than our 2nd gen airhorns are.

That's true - although they will still benefit the VP trucks.

WOW!! Those results are impressive. I wonder what the gains are on the vp trucks?
