I just installed my CB. It is a stock radio and I drew power from a fuse tap to the power window fuse. When I key up the mic my commander switches to EGT display only, and shows a very high EGT reading. I think I need an rf choke for the Quad unit, but I dont know where to install it. Any ideas?

 

Run your wires thru the chock. I had to put two mine.

 

which wires should I run through the choke?

 

The ones from the module to the plug.
