cab lights or sun visor??truck list
Another vote for cab lights.
I have a Lund Moon Visor on my gaser Ram. It has the lights on the visor. It is attached to the roof with bolts. On a drive between LA and Phoenix the bolt on the passenger side of the truck pulled through the roof. The threads on the bolt would make a loud popping noise as it pulled in and out of the roof. Spent about $600 to get it fixed. A couple months later on another drive between LA and Phoenix it pulled through again. Took it back to the shop and they fixed it. Now I have another bolt in the middle that is pulling through.
I would not suggest the visor if you do a lot of long freeway drives. There is a lot of wind force putting pressure on the visor.
I bought the clear running lights for my diesel ram. I have seen them on other trucks and they look great. Can't wait to get mine on.

Cab lights. Hands down. I bought the cab light kit from Mopar that came with everything I needed, minus basic tools and a drill. Even though I have a 01, I bought lights that went on 99 and older trucks. Different style lenses. I have part numbers for both the older style and the new style 2nd gen marker lights for anyone that wants it.

From your Dodge dealership. Thats where I got my kit. The kit comes with the lenses, lights, wiring harness, gaskets, zip ties, screw anchors, and a drilling template/instructions. Very nice kit for a reasonable price, I paid $144 for mine.
Here's the Mopar part numbers :
P/N 82205120 for the old style (94-97)

P/N 82207252 for the newer style (98-02) Thanks to AggiePhil for the next photo.
A warning with this kit. Supposedly this kit comes with the wrong template from a 3rd gen, but otherwise has all of the correct parts. Member AggiePhil bought a kit that had the wrong template.

I also have to go with the visor. I like mine and I do think it looks good. Pic in gallery.
Great deal, thanks for the pictures, I will get the newer ones, I have a price of $ 78.75 from an online dealer.

i was looking at doing both, but all the holes kinda scares me. and i've been talkin to people around here and they don't like the visors cause of wind noise and decrease in mpg, so cab lights it is
now if i can get the rest of the list goin
now added to list
control arms, DSS
anything else to add??

But, absolutely hate it on the highway. It is noisy, and all that air hitting it makes the overhead console and rearview mirror rattle like crazy above 55. I've tightened up everything I can but no go. I can't help but think it is lowering my fuel mileage and between that and the bug deflector, my wipers have a difficult time staying on the windshield at speed.
