i was taking out a 12valve to build up but got to thinking you change air intake to turbo for more air way couldnt open up the intake plate on the head for more air ? thinking about fabing one up myself what would be the pros and cons

well I was trying to understand how you typed the question. did you mean you were not able to remove the intake plate?
as far as the Fab part if I understand but yes. There are many companies and folks that have made a new intake side plenum. envolves with cutting off the intake on the head. google cummins side intake Plenum.

If you are talking about keeping the stock cast intake bank that is on it and cutting out or doing a fabricated new intake plate.

yes i was planning on fabing up the intake,, the new motor in building im cutting the intanke off seen the black betty build plan on getting ahold of them on cost for them to do the job and buying their intake and exhaust set up thanks going to look up the sites
