Rock solid, no buzz.
That's exactly where they installed mine as well.

Pretty sure my boost guage is quiet.

Boost gauge rattle

Here is what a fellow from TDR sent me when he was having the same problem.

Dave, I found a snubber from McMaster Carr with a .04 orfice. and 1/8 npt fittings. mounts right on the back of the gauge. worked great and only $6.77 .
Hope this helps.

My Autometer gauge doesn't make any noise, but it occasionally will wiggle the needle under high boost (31+) conditions. This makes it hard to read exactly what number it points to. It's a slight wiggle, about 3psi in width. It doesn't happen that often, and since I haven't seen my truck in 3 months, I can't tell you more about when or why it does this.

One thing I ran into was plumbing the boost line. My 1/8" line cracked and started to leak. I couldn't find any replacement in that size, so I went up to 1/4". I figured it wouldn't make a difference since the gauge still has a pretty restrictive orifice on the inlet. The larger line seems to provide a larger "cushion" of air in the gauge feed, and the compressibility of air seems to smooth things out a bit.

I ordered a snubber valve today, should be here in a couple days. I'm getting my boost reading from a 3/4 in pipe plug I removed from the head (Driver Side, Rear of engine) , mabe thats my whole problem.

I would say that is not your problem.

Just to add to the list, I too have the vibration from about 15 and up. In addition I used the plug by number 6.

I may try to tap the horn and see if it helps. If you get the snubber let us know how it works out.

I got my snubber today but I have a Couple of questions. (1) what end of my hose do i put it on (gauges side or intake side) and (2) what directions is air supose to flow through it?

Shouldn't matter where you put it or what direction it faces, all it is is a restriction. I would put it where ever is easiest.

Got my snubber in today. I didnt know where to put it so I first tried right at the intake, it got rid of the noise but the boost gauge was about 4 sec. behind. Then I tried right on the gauge. This kept the boost gauge from being so slow and I still got rid of my gauge niose. FINALLY!!!

Thanks to all that helped
