Christmas Bonus!<br><br>Man, we got our Christmas Bonus earlier this week. It wasnt enough to take my family out to the local fast food burger joint! :

The cheapskate that owns the dealer I work at doesn't give us a bonus at all!! He gives us what we call a "bone-***", you figure it out. Oh and by the way he acts like he's doing us a favor by letting us leave at lunch on Christmas Eve but he's not paying us for the afternoon!! What a low-life!!! Sorry, I just had to vent a little since we were on the topic.<br><br>John<br><br>

Yup, same here. :'(
We've gotten coffee mugs, tshirts, and a couple of jackets over the years(with logo on front, free advertising), but cash, ha ha ha, no way.
"Upstairs" gets to leave early on Christmas Eve (sales, accounting, assorted desk jobs)
"Downstairs" gets to leave when their shift is over, and also gets to work 365 1/4 days a year, 24 hours a day, 7 days a week. (Television production and news)

Don't feel so bad. I work for a multi-Billion $$$ profits earning company that gives us no bonus, a catered lunch,"work-load permitting"(in 22 years I've been able to get to two of 'em), and 4 hours early leave on the 24th, also "work-load permitting" :<br><br>Hey, but in today's economy and workplace.........I gotta job.

Bonuses are good. I got a decent one from work, it went toward the purchase of a McLeod dual disk clutch. Oh well, I can always charge the Christmas gifts on my Discover ;D
