BHAF Heat Shields, post your pics plz
 

I've been searching and decided to go the BHAF way on the ole 97. I know I need a shield of some sort, I can fab one, but I want to see what others have done, to get some ideas.

I downloaded a template in ms word, but I haven't printed i tout yet, I'd really like to se a pic of it first.

This is also from the template that you downloaded. I modified mine to fit as I liked though. Mine is made from a cored aluminum panel we have at my work, I added the gussets in with epoxy and painted it. Since these pics I also added a cradle to support the BHAF instead of letting it sit on the bolts.
I have since drawn this shield in AutoCad and cut it out on our shop's CNC. If anyone would want it in a DWG file I have it available.

here is one that i made using the template off here. all i did was modify it a little. it is made from diamond plate aluminum.

Seems to be a lot of BHAF topics poppin up suddenly. That's a nice setup Dr. Evil, If I had some motivation, and my tools weren't currently 600 miles away, I'd do it.
The tube doesn't rub at all on the edge of the aluminum?

the tube was to close to the shield for me, i took a piece of rubber hose and split it and glued it onto the side of the shield.
