BD anti Defueler

Is this something that would benefit me on the street? What is the purpose of this thing? As you can see I have some extra cash and can't wait to spend it! ;D

Re:BD anti Defueler

Just buy it ;D

The 2001 and newer trucks have the defueling built into the ECM mapping. Low throttle fueling is limited to help save the auto trannies by the ECM. Also, on the top end the fuel is cut back just before 100MPH. Not good.

When using the RAD you will lose the tach, but so what.

Re:BD anti Defueler

I have been running one for a while now. Don is correct on the function of it, but on the street it will do nothing for you. It was designed to eliminate the de-fueling, or surging on the line while building boost for a launch.I have seen no benefit on the top end as my truck still defuels at 3400. Without a Drag Comp you might see a small gain on the very top end. A warning though, without a BILLET OUTPUT SHAFT you run the risk of breakage above a 15 psi launch. I did it as well as a friend, first time - snap. It will also allow full fueling thru gears one and two, as the factory ecm does cut back, but only at wot.

Yes you. ;D

You go and set the street diesel record without it. How dare you. Adding that little box should net you a 1/10 for sure.
