banks stinger plus fuel plate slid forward
banks stinger plus fuel plate slid forward
I have a 97 with a banks stinger plus installed in it and I`d like to slide the fuel plate forward. Has any one slid there plate forward with the same setup and what was the results? Even if you dont have the same setup I could use some help. What # do you think the plate would be the truck is putting about 247HP and around 32psi of boost.
Thanks

I tried that on my old 97' 5 spd. & it pulled really good, w/out getting hot at all, wasn't the best running setup, but it did pull nice, I have a couple of bullydog plates layin around if you ever decide to get rid of the Banks plate, I'd swap ya one of mine to keep ya from grinding the Banks plate up!! LOL but I liked mine slid up for a towing setup! Dusty
Got the same plate. I called TST some time ago and they told me they used to make the plates for Bank's and that it was very similar to their #8. Got mine slid forward about 3/4's and with my orther mods I'm pleased with the results. EGT's are not a problem unless towing heavy up severe grades and then it's easily controlled with your foot.
If I get on it , it will blow some smoke but not too objectionable. If driven normally I get little to no smoke. Hope this helps.
